pop - clip from burst

My work embraces technology and also questions it,  touching on current issues of which the 'super information highway' rules. I uses simple, sometimes fun recognizable objects reworking them  to portray complex issues, posing questions about seduction , the blurring of boundaries , manipulation and the loss of the real within our present post modern condition.
The work is portrayed via short video clips which are viewed on a monitor or as a projection.
The mere words monitor or projection have connotations of seduction and manipulation in which we exist in a current day situation.
The visual stimuli of the work is conducted so that the rarity of the image is to an extent, kept not to disguise any mistakes which in my view confronts media production. This keeps the viewer in question of a more real sense of what a two dimensional interface can portray.
Some acts of my practice have lead to one off  performances which question identity and challenge possible public oppression.
Actions involved within the video clips are an attempt to touch the sublime, to escape the seduction of which we are part of and to reclaim our identity for a split second.
